First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests whether a traditional Chinese medicine formula called modified Bufei Decoction can reduce cough, fatigue, and shortness of breath in elderly patients who have had lung cancer surgery. About 174 participants will receive either the herbal granules or a placebo twice daily for 28 days. Researchers will measure symptom changes using a standard symptom scale.

What this could lead to
If it works, this could offer a natural option to reduce common post-surgery symptoms like cough and fatigue in older lung cancer patients.
