NCT ID NCT06950515
First seen Mar 12, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study compares two sedation methods—general anesthesia (fully asleep) and conscious sedation (awake but relaxed)—for a lung biopsy procedure called radial endobronchial ultrasound. About 306 adults with small lung nodules will take part to see which method helps doctors get a clearer diagnosis. The goal is to find out if one approach is better at identifying whether a nodule is cancerous or not.
