Math model may unlock diabetes remission secrets
NCT ID NCT06699810
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looks at how blood sugar changes day-to-day in people with ketosis-prone diabetes as they go into remission. Researchers will use this data to build a math model that describes the remission process. The study involves 12 African American adults with a BMI of 28 or higher who have had diabetic ketoacidosis. The goal is to better understand and predict remission, not to test a new treatment.
