New hope for toddlers with CP: study tests early movement training

NCT ID NCT02340026

Summary

This study tested a new physical therapy program called dynamic supported mobility for infants and toddlers with cerebral palsy. Researchers wanted to find the best treatment length (6 to 24 weeks) and see if this new approach worked better than current standard therapy. They followed 42 children aged 1-3 years to measure changes in their movement, balance, and daily activity over time.
