Summary
This study tested whether a mobile chat messaging program could help people who recently quit smoking avoid relapsing. Researchers enrolled 590 Hong Kong adults who had been smoke-free for 3 to 30 days. Participants received relapse prevention support via WhatsApp. The goal was to see if this approach increased the number of people who stayed smoke-free long-term.
