Summary
This study tested a mobile app-based cardiac rehabilitation program for people who recently had a heart attack, heart surgery, or a stent placed. 259 participants were randomly assigned to use the app or attend traditional in-person rehab. The goal was to see if the app could improve walking ability, cholesterol, and overall heart health just as well or better than standard care.
