Healthy volunteers help uncover drug interactions
NCT ID NCT07222098
First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looked at how a single dose of an experimental drug called MK-1084 changes the way the body processes two common medicines: rosuvastatin (for cholesterol) and metformin (for diabetes). Sixteen healthy adults took part in this crossover study, where each person received the medicines with and without MK-1084. The goal was to measure the levels of rosuvastatin and metformin in the blood over time. This research helps understand potential drug interactions but offers no direct treatment benefit to participants.
