First seen Apr 10, 2026 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study looks at how early, symptom-free artery hardening (atherosclerosis) might be linked to thinking and memory problems. Researchers will use painless scans and memory tests in 1000 adults, both with and without known heart disease. The goal is to better understand these connections and find ways to catch blood vessel disease earlier.
