The 'Missed period Pill' study: could a simple pill offer reproductive choice?
NCT ID NCT04940013
Summary
This study looked at whether people find it acceptable to use a medication called misoprostol to restart a late period, without first taking a pregnancy test. Researchers enrolled 17 people who had a period that was up to two weeks late and did not want to be pregnant. The goal was to understand if this approach is a feasible and acceptable option for managing a missed period.
