First seen Feb 02, 2026 · Last updated Jun 09, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study tests a new, less invasive cleaning method (MINST) for peri-implantitis, an infection around dental implants. About 80 adults with the condition will receive either MINST or standard cleaning. The goal is to see if MINST reduces deep pockets, bleeding, and infection better than the usual approach, potentially avoiding surgery.
