New study aims to cut bleeding in fibroid surgery

Summary
This study tests if temporarily blocking the blood supply to the uterus and ovaries during minimally invasive fibroid surgery can reduce blood loss. About 120 women with large or numerous fibroids will be randomly assigned to receive the vessel-blocking technique or standard surgery. The goal is to make the procedure safer and improve recovery.
