Summary
This study tested whether a mindfulness training program called MindUP could help reduce feelings of depression, anxiety, and stress in orphaned teenage boys living in care institutions in Pakistan. The program involved structured group sessions teaching mindfulness and emotional skills over several weeks. Researchers compared the mental health of teens who did the program to those who continued with their usual activities.
