This study compares an 8-week mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR) course to standard care for working-age adults (18โ64) with back pain lasting over 12 weeks. Half of the 120 participants will take the course, and all will be followed for 2 years. The goal is to see if mindfulness reduces pain intensity and interference with daily activities.
