First seen Apr 07, 2026 · Last updated Jun 11, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study tested whether mindfulness training for teachers and a special social-emotional curriculum (SEED) can improve well-being in young children and their teachers. About 200 children aged 3-7, their parents, and teachers from four Hong Kong kindergartens took part. Half received the training and lessons, while the other half served as a waitlist comparison group. Researchers measured changes in mindfulness, burnout, compassion, and children's social skills and behavior.
