This study looked at whether a school-based mindfulness program (MindUP) can improve mental health and thinking skills in 5th to 8th graders. About 68 students from Alabama schools took part. Researchers measured changes in anxiety, attention, stress, and school performance to see if the program helps teens who often lack access to mental health care.
