Summary

This study tested whether a 12-week online mindfulness program was practical and acceptable for teenagers with prediabetes or type 2 diabetes. Researchers enrolled 30 teens to learn mindfulness skills like breath awareness and mindful eating in virtual group sessions. The main goal was to see if this approach is feasible for future, larger studies, while also exploring if it might help with physical and mental health.
