First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study tested whether a mindfulness-based program helps adults who use multiple drugs stay sober after detox. 130 people in a rehab center were split into two groups: one got the mindfulness program, the other got standard care. Researchers measured cravings, relapse risk, mood, and coping skills to see if mindfulness made a difference.
