First seen Feb 26, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a mindfulness program designed for pregnancy and parenting can help lower anxiety in expectant mothers. About 60 pregnant women with high worry levels will be randomly assigned to either the mindfulness class or a standard childbirth education class. Researchers will track changes in stress, mood, and parenting skills through questionnaires and follow-ups for a year after birth.
