Can meditation ease the pain of a debilitating skin disease?
NCT ID NCT05642039
Summary
This study tested whether mindfulness training could improve the quality of life for people with hidradenitis suppurativa (HS), a painful and chronic skin condition. Researchers enrolled 37 HS patients to see if learning mindfulness techniques could help them better manage pain, stress, and the daily impact of their symptoms. The goal was to provide a non-drug approach to improve well-being alongside standard medical care.
