Summary
This study tested whether group mindfulness classes, based on Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, can improve daily function and reduce pain in adults with chronic low back pain. Over 450 participants took part, and researchers measured pain and activity levels for up to a year. The goal was to see if this non-drug approach helps people manage persistent back pain better.
