Mind over pain: can meditation ease your aching back?
NCT ID NCT04129450
Summary
This study tested whether an 8-week group mindfulness program could help people with long-term low back pain. 451 participants were randomly assigned to either receive their usual doctor's care or their usual care plus the mindfulness classes. Researchers measured changes in pain levels, daily function, mood, and quality of life over a year to see if the mindfulness approach made a difference.
