First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study tested whether group mindfulness classes, based on Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, could improve daily function and reduce pain in adults with chronic low back pain. Over 450 participants took part, and researchers measured pain levels and physical ability at several points over a year. The goal was to see if this non-drug approach offers real-world relief in a primary care setting.
