New therapy trial aims to curb Self-Harm and ease emotional pain

Summary

This study is testing whether a therapy called Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) can help people with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD). It will see if MSC can reduce self-harm behaviors, help people manage their emotions better, and improve their overall quality of life. The study will involve 60 adults with BPD, who will either receive the therapy right away or be placed on a waitlist for comparison.
