First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 26, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study tests whether a diet called MIND (a mix of Mediterranean and DASH diets) can help protect memory and thinking in women with breast cancer who are receiving chemotherapy or other systemic treatments. About 43 women with stage II-IV breast cancer will be randomly assigned to follow the MIND diet or their usual diet. Their cognitive function will be tested remotely via Zoom to see if the diet reduces the mental side effects of cancer treatment.
