New eye surgery may offer safer glaucoma control
NCT ID NCT06213805
First seen Apr 11, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tested a new, less invasive surgery called MIMS for people with glaucoma. The goal was to see if it lowers eye pressure as well as traditional surgery but with fewer side effects. 23 adults with glaucoma took part, and doctors tracked their eye pressure, vision, and quality of life. The results help show if MIMS is a safer option for managing this eye disease.
