Summary
This pilot study tests a new laser device for treating open-angle glaucoma and ocular hypertension. The device uses a laser through the sclera (the white of the eye) to lower eye pressure, avoiding the need for a lens to touch the cornea. Researchers will check how safe the procedure is and whether it reduces eye pressure by at least 20% in the 30 days after treatment. The study involves 15 adults who are candidates for standard laser trabeculoplasty.
