New shot could cut bleeding risk for hemophilia patients

Summary
This study tested a new medicine called Mim8 for people with hemophilia A, a condition where blood does not clot properly. Mim8 is injected under the skin to replace the missing clotting factor and prevent bleeding episodes. The trial included 275 healthy volunteers and people with hemophilia A (with or without inhibitors) and lasted up to 44 months. The main goal was to check safety and how well the medicine works when given weekly or monthly.
