Heart attack patients to drink special milk to stop stents clogging
NCT ID NCT07176104
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether drinking a specially designed milk every day for a year can reduce the chance of stents narrowing again and prevent further heart problems in people who have had a first heart attack. About 140 adults who recently had a stent placed will be randomly assigned to get either the special milk or a regular milk drink. Researchers will use CT scans and blood tests to check for stent narrowing, inflammation, and other heart risks.
