New score may predict stent failure in heart patients
NCT ID NCT07614763
First seen Jun 02, 2026 · Last updated Jun 17, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This completed study looked at 1000 adults with coronary artery disease who had a stent placed. Researchers wanted to see if a score based on insulin resistance could predict whether the artery would narrow again (restenosis). They used follow-up angiograms to measure any re-narrowing. The goal was to find a better way to identify patients at higher risk.
