Microwave scanner aims to spot hidden colon polyps doctors might miss

NCT ID NCT05988645

Summary

This study is testing a new microwave-based device used during colonoscopy to see if it can safely help doctors find more colorectal polyps. It will be used in 50 patients who already have a known polyp and are scheduled for its removal. The main goals are to see if the device detects polyps that might otherwise be missed and to confirm it is safe and easy for doctors to use.
