Gut bacteria may boost cancer immunotherapy: new trial launches

Summary

This study looks at how gut bacteria affect immunotherapy in people with advanced solid tumors. It has two parts: first, finding bacterial markers linked to treatment response; second, testing if fecal transplants from healthy donors can make immunotherapy work better. About 60 adults with solid cancers who are on or about to start immunotherapy will take part.
