Cancer care goes home: study tests nurse visits to cut hospital trips
NCT ID NCT06797037
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study is testing a new way to manage care for 33 cancer patients who take oral chemotherapy at home. Instead of going to the hospital every month just to pick up medicine, a nurse will visit them at home twice in six months. An advanced practice nurse will coordinate everything. The goal is to see if this approach is practical and makes life easier for patients.
