Gene test may help tailor cancer treatments
NCT ID NCT06489041
First seen Feb 02, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a comprehensive genetic test (microarray PGx) can find more drug-gene interactions than the standard single-gene test in people with cancer. Researchers will enroll 120 adults with gastrointestinal cancer who are about to receive chemotherapy. The goal is to see if the broader test provides extra information that could help doctors choose safer or more effective drug doses.
