Shorter, more frequent workouts tested for soccer speed
NCT ID NCT07193706
Summary
This study tested whether shorter, more frequent plyometric training sessions work as well as traditional longer sessions for improving speed and explosive power in elite teenage soccer players. Researchers compared two groups of 24 players over 8 weeks during pre-season, with both groups doing the same total weekly training volume. The goal was to help coaches and athletes understand if micro-dosed training could be a good alternative to traditional methods.
