Thousands of medicare patients enrolled in pacemaker safety study

Summary

This study follows 37,000 Medicare patients who received a Micra AV leadless pacemaker or a traditional pacemaker to treat slow heart rate (bradycardia). Researchers will compare complication rates and survival over two years using insurance claims data. The goal is to understand how well these newer leadless devices perform in real-world use.
