Summary

This study tested whether adding Mexidol to standard stroke care helps patients recover better after an ischemic stroke. 304 adults with a first stroke were treated within 48 hours and followed for about 10 weeks. Researchers measured disability, neurological symptoms, and mobility to see if Mexidol improves outcomes compared to placebo.
