Could a focus drug ease PTSD brain fog? VA launches new study

Summary

This study tests if methylphenidate (a medication used for ADHD) can improve PTSD symptoms and related thinking problems like poor memory and concentration in Veterans. About 70 Veterans will take turns receiving the drug or a placebo every 4-5 weeks over 20 weeks. The goal is to see if the drug helps more than placebo, giving doctors better treatment options.
