First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study looks at whether a standard set of guidelines, called the Methodist Acute Pancreatitis Protocol (MAPP), improves care for people with acute pancreatitis. Researchers will compare outcomes like hospital stay length and discharge status before and after the protocol was put in place. About 500 adults with severe abdominal pain and high enzyme levels are included.
