Could easier methadone access save lives?

NCT ID NCT05675735

Summary

This study tests whether helping addiction treatment clinics offer more take-home methadone doses improves how long patients stay in treatment. It involves 36 clinics and their staff, focusing on patients who have been stable on methadone for at least 30 days. The goal is to see if reducing clinic visit requirements helps people continue their recovery, especially in Black and Latinx communities.
