Summary
This observational study looks at whether taking metformin before surgery affects nausea and vomiting after general anesthesia. Researchers will follow 909 adults who are already on metformin and compare them to those not taking it. The goal is to see if metformin changes how often or how severe post-surgery nausea is, using surveys after the operation.
