Summary
This study tests whether metformin, a diabetes medication, can help adults with intellectual disability who have gained weight from antipsychotic drugs. About 100 participants will receive either metformin or a placebo for several months. The goal is to see if metformin leads to meaningful weight loss and better overall health.
