Summary

This study tests whether metformin, a common diabetes medicine, is safe and practical to use for treating acute kidney injury caused by sepsis. Researchers will enroll 80 intensive care patients to monitor side effects and see if the treatment can be given successfully. This is an early step to see if a larger trial is possible.
