Massive data dive seeks clues to improve sarcoma survival
NCT ID NCT03977818
Summary
This study looked back at the medical records of over 2,000 adults with advanced soft tissue sarcoma to understand what treatments they received in real-world clinics and how long they lived. Researchers analyzed patterns of care, including chemotherapy and off-label drug use, to see what factors were linked to better survival. The goal is to use this information to improve future treatment guidelines and patient care for this rare cancer.
