New drug aims to halt Cancer's deadly spread in first human test

Summary

This is the first-ever study in people of an experimental drug called metarrestin. The main goals are to find a safe dose and see if it can shrink tumors. It is for adults and teenagers (12+) with advanced solid tumors that have spread and have not been cured by standard treatments. Participants will take the drug by mouth and be closely monitored for safety and any effect on their cancer.
