Can a simple breath test predict your weight loss surgery success?
NCT ID NCT03221543
Summary
This study aimed to see if measuring how many calories a person burns at rest before weight loss surgery could help predict their weight loss results. Researchers tested patients before and after surgery to see if this measurement could also help doctors choose the most effective type of surgery for each person. The goal was to gather information to potentially improve future patient care.
