NCT ID NCT05246813
First seen Mar 29, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study collects bone marrow samples from 24 adults aged 65 and older during hip surgery. Researchers will analyze the cells' metabolism and look for specific genetic changes linked to clonal hematopoiesis (CHIP). The goal is to understand how these changes affect stem cell function and aging, not to test a treatment.
