Lung cancer protein study may unlock new clues

NCT ID NCT01647867

First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study examined pieces of the Met receptor protein in tumor and healthy tissue from 56 people with non-small cell lung cancer. Researchers used blood and tissue samples taken during surgery or biopsy to see which Met fragments are present and whether they are active. The goal was to better understand how Met might be involved in lung cancer, not to test a new treatment.
