Summary
This study tested whether using a mesh patch to reinforce the surgical site during stoma reversal reduces the risk of incisional hernia, infection, and pain compared to standard closure. Sixty-two patients with temporary stomas took part. The goal is to improve recovery and reduce complications after surgery.
