NCT ID NCT06181994
First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study is looking at how well a procedure called middle meningeal artery embolization (MMAE) works for treating chronic subdural hematoma, a condition where blood collects on the brain. Researchers will review medical records of 5,000 adults who had this procedure to see how often the blood clot comes back and if any additional surgery is needed. The goal is to understand the real-world safety and effectiveness of this treatment.
