Summary
This study looks back at medical records of 5,000 adults who had a procedure called middle meningeal artery embolization (MMAE) for chronic subdural hematoma, a condition where blood collects on the brain. The goal is to see how well the procedure works, how often the blood comes back, and how safe it is. Researchers want to learn if this less invasive treatment can help patients avoid repeat surgeries.
