NCT ID NCT07600489

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study compares two types of compression bandages for treating venous leg ulcers, which are slow-healing wounds on the lower leg. About 386 adults will receive either the new Mepi Press 2 or the standard UrgoK2 bandage for up to 12 weeks. The goal is to see if the new bandage works as well at healing the ulcers completely.

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.

Active substance
Compression bandage system (Mepi Press 2)
What this could lead to
If successful, this could offer a new, equally effective option for treating venous leg ulcers with compression therapy.
What could go wrong
